How HumanBoard stays human

HumanBoard is for original human-made Creations, visible process, and respectful participation.

These pages explain HumanBoard product rules in plain language. They are not formal legal advice.

Original Work

Share Creations you made or directly helped make. Show enough story, process, tools, materials, and context for people to understand the human work behind it.
Do not present fully generative AI work, copied work, mass reposts, or commercial filler as original human-made work.
If collaborators materially contributed, credit them clearly and only post when you have permission to share the work.

Respectful Behavior

Treat creators, commenters, moderators, and viewers as people. Critique the work without attacking the person.
Do not harass, threaten, shame, impersonate, dox, or coordinate abuse against another person.
Do not use reports, comments, follows, likes, or saves to intimidate, punish, or manipulate another creator.

No Stolen Content

Do not upload someone else's work as your own.
Attribution is expected when relevant, but attribution alone does not make an unauthorized upload acceptable.
If your Creation is a reproduction, remix, adaptation, or collaborative piece, be honest about what you made and what came from someone else.

No Spam Or Deceptive Engagement

Do not post affiliate bait, scams, irrelevant promotion, repeated low-effort uploads, or content designed mainly to drive people away from HumanBoard.
Do not buy, trade, automate, or misrepresent likes, saves, follows, comments, reports, or creator identity.
Disclose material commercial relationships or promotional context when they are relevant to how the Creation is presented.

Appropriate Content Standards

Do not post content that encourages violence, self-harm, targeted hate, exploitation, or illegal activity.
Use judgment with mature, shocking, or sensitive material. HumanBoard may limit, review, or remove content that is not appropriate for the community.
If something involves real people, private spaces, minors, medical claims, financial claims, or safety-sensitive instructions, add context and avoid misleading presentation.

Reporting Responsibilities

Reports help moderators find problems, but they should be used carefully. Submit reports for genuine policy concerns, include useful context, and avoid repeated reports for the same unresolved issue unless you have new evidence. Learn more in the Moderation Policy.

Good-faith reports do not automatically remove content.
Knowingly false, abusive, retaliatory, or spammy reports may lead to limits on the reporting account.
If a moderation decision directly affects you, use the appeals process instead of reopening the same argument through reports.
