Ask for a moderation decision to be reviewed
Appeals are for people directly affected by a moderation decision who can provide context, evidence, or a clear reason to reconsider.

- You may appeal if your Creation was placed under review or removed, your profile was restricted, or a report outcome directly affects you.
- Appeals should explain what decision should be reconsidered and why the original review may have missed important context.
- Reports that were dismissed are not usually appealable unless you are directly affected and can provide new evidence.
What Helps
- Share concise context, process evidence, source files, permission records, attribution details, or other relevant information.
- Use respectful language. Appeals are reviewed by humans, and abusive appeals can be closed without changing the original decision.
- Do not submit repeated appeals for the same open issue. HumanBoard blocks duplicate open appeals and rate-limits appeal submissions.
What Happens Next
- Appeal records are stored for moderator and admin review.
- Submitting an appeal does not automatically restore content, remove restrictions, or change a report status.
- A moderator may grant, deny, or close an appeal after review. Reversible moderation actions can be reconsidered when evidence supports it.
